Kitchen Notes
The Kitchen will be closed starting Saturday, February 18 and reopen with dinner on Sunday, February 26. There will be three guys that we will be providing sack lunches/premade meals for during this time. If you're interested in having them over for a homecooked dinner while the Kitchen is closed, please contact Charissa for the details.
Natural Fertilizer
Maj. Horsman has a pile of horse manure available for any of the gardeners on campus. It is west of the horse barn, and anyone is welcome to help themselves.
Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford
2nd Phase left Sunday for a 3-week trip combining SCUBA training and disaster-relief deployment in South Florida. L&C and our flight student continue training on campus this week and next before L&C leaves for their DC trip. There are some special blessings and some unique challenges that come with being off campus, especially for this long. I love it, because the closeness of the environment provides some really neat opportunities for deep conversation. However, the men also tend to have a hard time being self-disciplined in the less structured environment. Please pray for God to orchestrate some really significant conversations and interactions during these next three weeks. Please also pray for faithfulness and a good perspective in the 3rd Phase students.
