If you'd like to dress up in "black-tie" attire, you are welcome, but it is not required. Childcare is also available. Please RSVP by replying to this email. We hope you can join us!
Leadership Class Speeches
With the Battalion gone, we would love for everyone who is available or interested to join us for Leadership Class speeches this Friday, February 17 at 4:30 PM in the Dining Room. Thank you for your support!
Community Service Project
Everyone is invited to help serve the Big Sandy community by participating in a trash pickup on White Oak Road (Old 80), Saturday, February 18 from 9–11 AM. We will meet at the Faculty Row gate. Please bring your gloves and looking forward to having you join us! If you have further questions, please contact Nate Paine at 918-320-9964.
John and Romans Update
Approximately 60,000 Spanish John and Romans booklets are on their way to Mexico this morning due to the help of a large group of volunteers! These young people worked diligently to help missionaries and churches in Mexico with their local outreach.
Kitchen Notes
The Kitchen will be closed starting Saturday, February 18 and reopen with dinner on Sunday, February 26. There will be three guys that we will be providing sack lunches/premade meals for during this time. If you're interested in having them over for a homecooked dinner while the Kitchen is closed, please contact Charissa for the details.
Natural Fertilizer
Maj. Horsman has a pile of horse manure available for any of the gardeners on campus. It is west of the horse barn, and anyone is welcome to help themselves.
Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford
Last week saw half of 2nd Phase on deployment with Samaritan’s Purse in Ft. Myers, FL, and the other half receiving SCUBA training in Miami. God was at work in Ft. Myers and brought one of the other volunteers to faith in Christ. The two groups switched places over the weekend, and this coming week will basically be a repeat of the past one. L&C will be learning public speaking this week, culminating in presentations on Friday afternoon. Things are going pretty well on the personal development side of things. Please pray for special wisdom for the leadership as they navigate some particularly challenging situations with the guys, and for God’s Spirit to do His work in the heart of each man. Also, pray for good flying weather so our flight student can get in the needed hours in the next four weeks.
