Veterans Banquet RSVP
Please RSVP for the Veterans Banquet today, Monday, Nov. 8. If you are a veteran or first responder, you and your immediate family members can attend for free. For staff that are not in this category, this meal will cost $4.25/adult and $2.50/child. Non-veteran guests cost $8/adult. We hope you can join us!
Stewardship Project
We are looking forward to hearing how you have used your "talent" in spiritual stewardship or in practical financial return for the Kingdom of God. Any “increase” does not need to be returned to the ministry, but if it is, this will be considered a donation since the $100 was given as a bonus. Please send your Stewardship Project reports to Dr. Levendusky by Wednesday, December 1.
ALERT Update
Each of the units in the battalion are continuing on with normal studies and responsibilities. On Veteran's Day the men will be doing a couple of Color Guard performances and helping serve the Veteran's Banquet. This Saturday, the Battalion will be doing a couple activities along with the ALERT Cadet camp taking place at the end of the week.

If you plan to host Battalion guys on Thanksgiving, please remember to contact Lydia Vanderford.

Basic Training Update
Thank you for praying for Unit 65 on their Endurance Hike. The men did exceptionally even with the weather being very wet and cold. We completed the 52 miles well under the 24-hour mark. This coming week the men will face the Solo Hike as well as the Basic Responder Challenge (Wednesday–Saturday morning). During these two events, the men will be tested in almost every area of training that they have received thus far. Pray for the men that they will continue to push themselves all the way to the end of Basic Training and not miss the lessons they have yet to learn.
Leadership Corner
Like it or not, doing any kind of work that matters means working with people. The better a team can learn to work together—the better results and impact. A healthy staff equals healthy students, healthy alumni, healthy donor relations/future staff, etc.

"Flourishing ministry teams have these important traits in common—1) They are intentional about building relationships. If it feels as if everyone on your team is going in opposite directions, ask yourself how intentional you’ve been to cultivate meaningful relationships with each member. 2) They have clarity on how to treat one another. If your team seems disjointed or lacks cohesion, consider how you could reset your team’s focus on treating one another with dignity and respect. 3) There is room for every team member to grow. If your team’s performance isn’t making the mark, pray and ask God to show you how you could create a pathway for growth for the underperforming members. What’s the action you need to take to build team chemistry?" – Lyle Wells
