| ALERT Store
The ALERT Store is closed for inventory. They will reopen this Thursday, 1–4 PM for Graduation. If you have a specific need, please feel free to contact Mr. Allison via text at 903-445-1318. |
| Baby Shower
All of our staff ladies are invited to join us for a baby shower celebrating Crystal Anderson (registry) and Liesy Turnbull (registry) on Thursday, December 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Hendrich's home. | All Staff Dorm Cleaning
We will be hosting another dorm cleaning Wednesday, December 2 at 8:30 AM. Dr. Levendusky would like to encourage all staff and any families to participate as we wrap up from Advancement. | | ALERT Graduation Event Summary ALERT Graduation (along with Awards and Promotions) will be held Thursday, December 3 in the Dining Room. This event will replace our usual Wednesday staff meeting/lunch. This Graduation meal will be complimentary for staff and served through the food lines as usual. | | Staff Christmas Party Staff and battalion are invited to our Staff Christmas Party at the Overby home (7267 White Oak Rd), Friday, December 4 at 6:00 pm for a fun time of fellowship, toasty bonfire, and hay rides. Staff Families, please bring your favorite chili and Christmas cookies to share. The Kitchen will be providing chili toppings, drinks, and s'mores. Please bring lawn chairs and don't forget to dress comfy and warm!

| Leadership Corner | Maj. BouldenSee people for people. It’s easy to see people for what they can get you rather than seeing people for who they really are. Love for people isn’t everyone’s motivation in ministry, however, ministry itself is a calling rooted in loving people. It’s of utmost importance to continually remind yourself why you are in ministry in the first place: to love those Christ has called you to love. If God has called you to leadership, He didn’t just called you to lead people. He called you to give yourself to people. | | Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford This is the last official week of the fall semester for the battalion. It has been a good year and I am grateful for the ways you have contributed to the ALERT ministry by your actions or by your prayers. This Thursday, we will recognize the men’s accomplishments in a combined Awards & Promotions and Graduation ceremony at noon. Fire Academy will have one week of class remaining after this week, taking their Texas state test here on campus. We are anticipating a large battalion for the upcoming quarter as we already have 44 men signed up for 2nd phase and 10 interested in Leadership and Communications.
