Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford
Well, we have come to the end of another full year for the Battalion! This year was full of many things; God’s blessings, challenges, donations, and input from many people who care about the mission of forging men who will go from here and influence their world for Christ. Thank you all for the support you give in many different ways. The staff here does so many things to help, bless and support us. From preparing delicious meals, stocking cleaning supplies, setting up and running events, and managing our books, to encouraging the guys in the dining room and hosting men in your home, you all help in so many ways, and we’re grateful. Please pray for our students to establish their own disciplines as they settle into their next season of life, and pray for God to bring those back that will benefit from further training.

Matthew Moody has finished his stint as Sergeant Major this fall. He has done a fantastic job and I so appreciate his heart for God and his desire to help men grow, which is at the bottom of everything he did as SMaj. Avery Whitaker will be taking over the position of SMaj beginning in January. He is well suited to the task, and I am looking forward to working with him in this role. Please pray for wisdom for Avery as he prepares to lead the leaders and students at the beginning of the new year.
