EMT Final Scenario
Our EMT Instructors would like bystanders for the final scenario, Tuesday, November 16. If you aren't already signed up to be a victim that evening, you are invited to show up at the intersection of Orange Grove and Smug Oak at 6:45 PM. If you have further questions, please contact Lt. Kaiser or Joel Barton at EMToffice@alertacademy.com. |
| Meal RSVPs We have some great meals coming up! Please be sure to RSVP for the meals you plan to attend.
There will be no Staff Lunch this week since SFG will be using our Dining Room for their Thanksgiving Luncheon. If you would like to purchase this meal as well (at the regular staff rate), please RSVP below. (12:30 PM, Basic Training Hallway)
Friday and Saturday's Advancement Meals — Please note Friday's banquet is available at the reduced rate.
Graduation Luncheon — regular staff rate. Please note that the Kitchen will close for the year on Saturday December 4, after brunch.
Forest Service Lunch/Dinner — On Monday, December 6, we have the privilege of hosting the Texas A&M Forest Service on campus. We will be temporarily reopening the Kitchen to serve them lunch and dinner that day. Our staff are welcome to join us for these meals. Please RSVP below and note that regular meal rate would apply.

| Dining Room in Use Wednesday
Please note that the Dining Room will be in use by SFG this Wednesday from 11:30 AM–2 PM. In lieu of Staff Lunch this week, we will have our regular noon prayer time in the Faculty Dining Room. Staff are welcome to join us in the BT Dining for a meal at the regular staff rate afterwards (please RSVP). Please use outside exits and refrain from walking through the Dining Room during that time. |
| Birthday Lunch
We will be doing a big birthday lunch for our September, October, November, and December birthdays next Wednesday, November 24. Please reply to this email with your birthday fact by Tuesday, November 25 if you'd like to be listed in the birthday quiz! |
| Stewardship Project
We are looking forward to hearing how you have used your "talent" in spiritual stewardship or in practical financial return for the Kingdom of God. Any “increase” does not need to be returned to the ministry, but if it is, this will be considered a donation since the $100 was given as a bonus. Please send your Stewardship Project reports to Dr. Levendusky by Wednesday, December 1. |
| Thank you!
The Fredricksons would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for everyone's help with Sophia & Angelo's wedding. It was a beautiful event and they are most grateful for your friendship and support! |
| ALERT Update | Capt. Vanderford
This will be a full week for the battalion with solo cross country flights, EMT Scenario Day, and the battalion both helping in various ways and enjoying the festivities on Advancement Day. The men will also do the last set of peer evaluations this weekend. Thank you to each one who has agreed to host men for Thanksgiving; I got a great response for that. Please continue to pray for wisdom for leadership and for God to work in the lives of the men.

| Basic Training Update
Five days and counting! The days are long but the weeks are short in Basic Training. This week will mostly consist of the Unit's preparation for Advancement Day on Friday. Thank you for all the prayers and support during these last 7 weeks of training for Unit 65. They have been very much appreciated.

| Leadership Corner
In all the twists and turns of this past year and all the unknowns of the year ahead, it is reassuring to know that we serve the One Who never changes!
"All other things have changed—all things are changing. But there is One who only has immortality, of whose years there is no end, and in whose person there is no change. The delight that the sailor feels when, having been tossed about on the waves, he steps again upon the solid shore is the satisfaction of a Christian when, in all the changes of this distressing life, he rests the foot of his faith upon this truth—'I the LORD do not change.' Whatever His attributes were in the past, they are now; His power, His wisdom, His justice, His truth are unchanged. He has forever been the refuge of His people, their stronghold in the day of trouble, and He is still their sure Helper." -C. H. Spurgeon
