Prayer and Fasting Because of some important needs and situations involving all of our lives, Dr. Levendusky is calling for a three-day period of prayer and fasting from October 30 to November 1. There will be a staff meeting but no staff lunch on Wednesday, October 31.
Some of the important prayer requests include:
- Prison Journey to the Heart Team in Florida, October 29-November 2
- National Elections, Tuesday, November 6
- SE Asia Family Conference, Malaysia, November 5-9
- Veterans Banquet, Thursday, November 8
- Basic Training/Advancement ceremony, Friday November 9
- Veterans Conference, November 8–10
- ALERT Unit 59 Graduation, Friday, November 16
- Battalion men and activities
- Various families with needs or challenges at this time

| Auto Shop Notice The Auto Shop will be closed from Friday, October 26 at noon until Monday November 5. Ross will be gone for the Prison Journey that will be taking place in Florida. Please submit any known or possible vehicle needs so that details can be worked out prior to his departure. Randy Switzer will be the emergency contact for fuel and vehicle needs/issues while Ross is gone. |
| Hunting Gun season opens on Saturday, Nov 3, in Texas. All staff desiring to hunt deer are required to text Maj. Horsman the day prior to hunting with the stand location and approximate start time in the woods. On campus TPWD deer tags can be picked up anytime from Maj. Horsman. Do to the Basic BRC schedule this week, there will be NO hunting on Saturday morning until noon time.
All hikers wanting to go north of the lake, east to the farm ponds, or into area 13, please wear bright colored clothing in the woods or trails.

| Basic Training Update | Capt. Boulden Seven weeks down and only two to go! Last week the men did very well on their Nav-Meds as well as successfully passed their Saturday Inspection. This coming week the men will be participating in the Basic Responder Challenge. From Wednesday morning till Saturday morning the Unit will be split up into four different teams and compete against each other for the Team Excellence Ribbon to be awarded at the end of Basic Training. Continue to be in prayer for the Unit as they finish up theses final two weeks of training.
