| Mayflower Minutes The Mayflower Group is operating on a different schedule these days. Many of them have been given work visas and they are diligently taking advantage of these opportunities to work and earn a living. More than ten have been employed in the Tyler area and some shifts starts at 3PM and they get back to their Chestnut home sometime after 12 midnight. Although you may not see as many of the Mayflower Group around the campus, you can still see some from time to time working in their gardens where they are still growing vegetables.

| Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford Missions and Tech Rescue returned Saturday night from a weeklong service trip to Good News Boys Home near Indianapolis. The men stripped and re-roofed two buildings and cut many dead trees. They also enjoyed teaching rappelling and river crossing, getting soundly beat in a football game against the boys, and many other activities. This week, Dive will be doing tactical diver training, which will include some night-time training and scenarios. Construction is in Maine for the next two weeks for a combination service and training trip. Tech Rescue will be doing class on campus, and Missions will be on campus today and tomorrow and then off campus for training Wednesday through Friday.

| Basic Training Update | Capt. Hawley Thank you for praying for Unit 69 on their Endurance Hike last week. The men did exceptionally well and the weather was very nice for the whole thing. This coming week of training is known as Navigational-Medical Week or Nav-Med week. Over the week, the men will be sent out on different scenarios to be tested on all of the skills they have learned throughout their time in Basic. Continue to pray that the men would stay safe throughout the week and that they would continue to hone their skills.
