Battalion Update| SMaj. Hawley
As we are nearing the halfway point of this last quarter of training, the majority of the Battalion is continuing to work through their classes and training as usual, while MRT has had a full itinerary. This past Wednesday MRT returned from a week of deployment assisting Samaritans Purse with clean up after Hurricane Harvey in Santa Fe, Texas. MRT then headed out on another trip very early Friday morning and are currently in Pennsylvania for the next few weeks helping at a Father/Son and Cadet LTC Camp.

As we were out on deployment this last week, we had numerous opportunities not only to physically serve the community in need, but to use the service as an avenue to share the Gospel.

"Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out... 'I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another...'"
Isaiah 42:5-8a

Please pray for:
  • Continued unity among the men in Battalion.
  • The Flight Program, as the men wrap up their class time and prepare to take the test for their Private Pilot's License.
  • For those who we had interaction with on deployment, that God would use what we were able to share of the Gospel, along with the physical help we were able to provide, to draw them to Himself.
Basic Training Update| Capt. Boulden
This past week went well for the men of Unit 58. They completed their training on the tower and river-crossing, and had a successful 6-hour hike. This coming week the men will be working on more navigation exercises, work projects, and mechanical advantage. The next hike will be the 12-hour hike which will start at midnight and continue until noon of that day. Please be in prayer that the men would press on their training and look to God for the strength to tackle each day and each challenge as it comes.
