Family Camp Debrief Your teamwork and willingness to jump in and help with Family Camp was massive. Thank you for your kind and joyful service. We are working on our debriefing and scheduling notes—please reply to this emails with any pros/cons!
Also, if you had any encouraging encounters with guests, staff members, or saw any specific answers to prayer, we'd love to hear those stories as well! |
| Veterans Banquet Looking forward to having our veterans, local EMS, and public servants join us for our Veterans Banquet on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6:00 PM. Please have guests RSVP to 903-636-9201 by Monday, Nov. 4. |
| Battalion Update | Capt. Winkler We have passed the half-way point in the quarter, and the Battalion is getting back in to the swing of things after being deployed for Family Camp last week. Construction will be leaving on Tuesday to work with Green Lake Conference Center, a Christian ministry in Green Lake, Wisconsin installing windows, flooring, and trip, and doing painting. Pray for safe travels to and from Wisconsin, and safety working while they are up there. The rest of the Battalion will be training on campus this week.

| Basic Training Update | Maj. Hawley This week, Basic Training will reach the halfway mark, a significant milestone for many of the men—especially those who may have considered quitting!
The week will kick off with the 12-Hour Hike, and from there, the unit will dive into training on rope systems, learning how to use pulleys to create mechanical advantages for hauling heavy loads. They will also put their First Aid Training to the test with two scenarios: caring for a hypothermic patient and conducting their first nighttime search and rescue.
Please continue to pray for these men as they face each new challenge. Pray especially for those who are struggling with memorizing 1 Peter, that they would apply themselves and see the lifelong benefits of committing God's word to memory.
