Auto Shop Notice Mr. Kientz will be out of town starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7 through Monday, January 20. If you have vehicle needs during this time, please contact Capt. Switzer. |
| NCFCA Judge Opportunity We are looking forward to the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA) National Mixer in a few short weeks.
We would like to support them with as many judges as possible. This will be paid time for ministry employees who are able to judge during the normal work day.
No experience in either speech or debate is necessary. Judging is flexible with your schedule; each round is only a two to three-hour commitment which includes a brief training video (you can elect to view prior to the tournament), the round itself, and time to complete your ballot. Refreshments will also be provided.
Sign up online or contact Lisa Hetrick (BigSandyJudges@NCFCA.org or call/text 214-952-2314) with further questions. |
| Blood Drive Capt. Vanderford will be hosting a blood drive on Campus on January 18. Over the holiday season, blood donation is down while usage has increased, causing a shortage in blood supply. Please help if you can. Sign up is available in the Dining room or online. |
| Baby Shower Save the date! Ladies are invited to a game night and baby shower honoring Kendalyn Staddon, Sharon Harman, Rachel Switzer and Priscilla Waller, Friday, January 31 in the Faculty Dining Room. More details to come! |
| Battalion Update The battalion returned this past Saturday with 26 guys for 2nd Phase and 11 for advanced training. Along with the 8 men in battalion leadership, we have 45 guys in all. Sgt. Nafziger has been busy, but thanks to his diligent preparation, we're off to a very smooth start. Please be in prayer that God would work in each man’s life this quarter, and that the leadership would constantly remember that only Christ through us can do anything of lasting value.

| Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden What if today, just for today, we didn’t settle? What if we saw precisely the change we seek to make and sacrificed to make that change? What if we set aside urgencies and focused simply on what’s important instead? What if we did the work that matters?
