| Battalion Update This past week was full of good training for the battalion. Leadership & Communications are cruising along through class and had Miss Blair as a guest instructor. Flight had the opportunity Thursday to have Mr. Stiles (father of an ALERT Alumnus) teach about safety and weather. 2nd Phase was working on evangelism and apologetics in the mornings and High Angle training in the afternoons. Please pray for 2nd Phase as there are still some final details that need to come together before the dive trip on February 12. |
| Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden After a long weekend with lots of people on campus and lots going on, we can start asking ourselves, "Who are we serving in all of this? Our Alumni? Our students? Our staff?"
"The kind of leader you become depends on the master you serve... Part of what makes Jesus-following leaders different is that they lead with humility, with the knowledge that they are a work in progress with tons more to learn. They also understand that God is responsible for all the outcomes; they are simply to be present and use their talents and energy to the best of their knowledge." -Kevin Harris
Remember Who we serve first and foremost—Jesus!
