As I’m sure you are all aware, last week greeted us with its cold embrace as we ran to meet the day with our morning times of physical training. This was extremely beautiful as everything was covered with unblemished snow (at least until we arrived that is) and added extra excitement with ice covered pull-up bars and burpees in the snow. It’s not too often that we have the opportunity and privilege to end PT in Texas with snow-angels! Despite the blistery weather, ERT also did a good job working their way through High Angle Rescue class this last week and did their best to not freeze to death during their practicals out on the tower. 

ERT starts their Sawyer training this week. Please be in prayer for us as we learn skills and safe working habits around chainsaws. Also, please continue to pray for us as we endeavor to encourage each other in our walks with the Lord during our time in training and that each one would grow and want to grow personally in their spiritual walk. 

Thank you to everyone who helped support, participate in, or just came out to cheer us on during the Snake Walk Friday night. It was a tremendous success and the Battalion really enjoy your support in it.
