CAMP OMEGA

Summer 2023 Season Update

Every year, God calls a team of college-aged men and women to serve at Camp Omega and we are so blessed with the team he assembled this year!

They said yes to a summer of late nights, early mornings, going way outside their comfort zone, getting dirty, building fires (even in the rain), caring for kids, mentoring high school Youth Servant Leaders, and so much more.

Why did they say yes? Because they are on fire for Jesus and want to share the Gospel!

Please join us in praying for our Guides as they leave camp this weekend (or have left already). Thank God for their faith and service this summer, and boldly ask that he would continue to protect and strengthen them as they head back to school or work.

We also want to thank the 48 high schoolers who gave up at least 2 weeks of their summer to serve as Youth Servant Leaders.

They spent a week at Leadership Training Camp, then came back later in the summer for a week of volunteering. They assisted Guides in caring for campers and shining Christ's light. Some YSLs volunteered for more than one week!

Thank you, YSLs, for your sacrifice, love, energy, enthusiasm, and care!

Join us in thanking God for these great young servants, and pray that they would continue to share his love as they go back to school soon.
