Summer 2024 Season Update

Summer 2024...and beyond!

Last Friday marked the end of summer 2024 programming, and what a summer it has been!

Psalm 18:2

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;

my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,

my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Stronghold was our theme this year and campers read stories from the Bible of God being a stronghold and providing for his people. We looked at these examples, knowing that God is still a stronghold and is always with us.

We sang praises and danced. We swam, and canoed, and pedaled a pontoon. We met new friends and caught up with old friends. We cooked over a fire, and had ice cream at canteen. We dove into the good word and took home stories of hope, peace, love, and joy.

From the team here at Camp Omega, thank you for being a part of this exceptional summer! Thank you for sharing your children, your young adults, your families, your church communities, and your congregations with us.

Summer 2024 Quick Stats

Over 900 campers came to Camp Omega in summer 2024!

Camp Omega traveled to 15 different churches around the state, leading Day Camps.

Camp Omega hired 22 college-aged young adults this summer to be counselors and leadership guides!

Thank you to the Camp Omega Summer 2024 Guides

They showed Jesus to their campers and fellow Guides through Bible Study, but also their conversations and actions. They worked long hours and pushed through little sleep. They sang songs, answered big questions, and repeated instructions over and over again.

We're certain that God was working through them and in them all summer long.

Please pray for the Camp Omega Guides as they transition back to school and work, that they would cling to Jesus and the truths of the Bible this school year, just like they encouraged campers to do. 🙏
