Did you know Camp Omega's pool was built in 1988! A 35 year old pool requires some big repairs and upgrades in order to stay operational. Leaks were found and fixed last fall before shutting the pool down for winter. This spring, more leaks were found, as well as the need to resurface the entire pool bottom and walls. During the summer, additional leaks were discovered.

All of these necessary fixes were made before shutting the pool down this fall. However, the $35,000 expense was unexpected. Camp Omega needs to recoup these costs by the end of the year, so budgeted resources can go to currently planned ministry expenses.
