Subject: Merry Christmas from your Friends at Camp!

“Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

-Luke 2: 14

The word’s the angels sang at the birth of Jesus to the shepherds tending their flocks are so familiar to us we may have missed them. They are on Christmas postcards, packages, and they twinkle on festive signs. But they are so much more than a Christmas cliche. They are words predicting the victory, the resurrection, and the peace that comes after the battle is won.

The glory of the manger is the glory of Christ’s life, his death, and his resurrection. He was “born to die” so that we may live with Him.

The Camp Omega Staff want to wish you a Merry Christmas. We also wish to remind you that you have forgiveness, life, and salvation through Christ. Our Savior who was born in a stable and placed in a manger ultimately died on a cross for you and was raised from the dead. Now we have victory over death with him through faith.

Merry Christmas!
