Fall 2023 Season Update

Happy Thanksgiving

From the entire Camp Omega Staff, Happy Thanksgiving and thank YOU.

Although we're thankful year-round, this week on Facebook and Instagram, we are highlighting some of the things we're thankful for. We'd like to share them here with you.

First and foremost, we're thankful for God who created all things, Jesus who saved us from our sins, and the Holy Spirit who instills in us faith. It's the reason we do what we do. God loved us so much that he sent his only son to die and rise again, paying the price for our sin and defeating death, so that whoever believes in him will have eternal life. This is the great news we share with all who participate in Camp Omega programs.

Thank you, volunteers. From Youth Servant Leaders, Health Care Volunteers, and Resource Volunteers in the summer to those who volunteer their time and talents year-round. Whether they volunteer for a week, day, or a few hours, Camp Omega would not be the ministry it is without dedicated volunteers.

To those who sustain Camp Omega through monetary donations, thank you.

Registration and rental fees account for only 2/3 of Camp Omega's annual budget. The remaining 1/3 comes from donations. Camp Omega relies on the generosity of those who believe in the mission to nurture the spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of all people. Thank you to past and current donors!

P.S. If you'd like to help more people hear about Jesus, consider becoming a Camp Omega donor. There is currently a great need to recoup costs after necessary, but unexpected pool repairs. It's easy to give at givebutter.com/OmegaSOS

Thank you to all those who participate in Camp Omega programs and utilize camp as a place to retreat.

From summer campers and the parents who send them, to youth groups, church groups, schools, families, and organizations throughout the year, Camp Omega is grateful for you all!

Thank you Summer Guides, past and present, and those who guide them. The Summer Staff, and Full-Time staff who train and mentor them, put in countless hours each summer sharing Jesus' love with campers and families. They are the "front lines" of ministry in the summer. Thank you to all those who have served on Camp Omega's Summer Staff, whether last year or 30 years ago!
