Subject: Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. 2  I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. Psalm 9:1–2

Thankfulness can be a hard practice. It is hard to be thankful as life gets more and more hectic, as we see hurting people in the world, and when we feel lost not knowing exactly where God is taking us. At these times it is hard to feel gratitude.

The Psalmist of Psalm 9 reminds his readers that part of giving thanks is to recount the wonderful deeds that God has done even when our hearts may be stuck on hurt. We can be thankful for all God has done, especially in sending Jesus to be our Savior. God has sent many hurting people to Camp Omega, and they have heard the Good News that Jesus has died for their sins and rose again. That is something to be thankful for! Even in times of hurt, God uses his people to share healing. A healing that comes through the grace of Christ and guides us to eternal life with Him.

The Camp Omega staff, team, and family

wish you a happy Thanksgiving!
