Subject: REPLAY - Q&A session 📺

Hi, Friend,

We went Live in the Coffee Shop Start Up FaceBook group yesterday - these are some of the questions we were asked, and we went through everyone in detail.

Ester Tetteh

  • I have been following you two but money to start is a problem

  • I've never worked at a coffee shop before - is it essential experience to have under my belt before starting? What other key knowledge or skills are must-haves before taking the leap and starting my own coffee shop?

  • In your experience, what are the best selling food items in a coffee shop? And what’s the ideal number of options to offer (sweet and savory) to keep my menu concise yet appealing?

  • I’m wanting to offer a parent & tot area in my coffee shop for moms to take their infants and toddlers. I live in a very family-oriented community and there’s nothing like this around. What’s your thoughts on this?

  • General question: Things you wish you’ve done differently at the beginning of your business?

Brenda Palmer

  • Hi Guys does anyone currently or thinking about selling Kombucha in their cafe. I am referring to homemade fermented kombucha Not the shop stuff!! I would love to hear your thoughts Bless you ..

Chantelle Estera

  • Helloo!

  • When choosing a location for a cafe, what factors should be considered for a successful business?

  • During the early stages after a cafe is launched, what should we monitor or look out for to help in improving the business?

  • What factors can be sacrificed or prioritised due to financial constraints?

  • When should you consider hiring additional help

  • How would you recommend the business profits be used?
