National Burger Day is held annually in August on the Thursday before the bank holiday weekend. This year, it takes place on August 25. Now, pairing a wine with a burger would be easy if it weren’t for the pesky condiments. All the high acid components we lavish upon our buns. This requires a wine with a little more backbone to stand up to it. Check out some of my favorite burger wines. |

We don't need to convince you to come to Bubbles. While you're here, we'd love you to taste the top selling American single malt whiskey. |

Autumn is coming and with it, red wine season. Every day we are asked, “What is a good red wine?” In the ensuing discussion we may ask about the amount of tannin you prefer, full or light body and a slew of other inquiries to help us narrow down what you would describe as a good wine. More often than not, these questions are greeted with a deer in the headlights look. In this class we will be dissecting 4 different red wines, each chosen to showcase a different aspect of the wine and its pairing possibilities. Join us as we look into this confusing lingo and decipher the meaning. Reservations are required for this limited-seating free class. |
