On Thursday, November 18^th we celebrate the release of the 2021 Beaujolais Nouveau. Some people, mainly those who lack any sense of humor or fun, will lament this wine as not serious or worth contemplation. The truth is, they are correct, but since when does all wine have to be so serious? Those of you who shop here regularly know my name tag changes on occasion from “Head Wino” to “Wine Dude” amongst others. Beaujolais Nouveau, much like my whimsical titles, is that wonderfully simple reminder that wine is just a beverage, and a fun one, to be enjoyed amongst family and friends.
