It’s everyone’s favorite April holiday. No, not the one with the bunny. April 11th is National Cheese Fondue Day! Popularized in the US by the 1964 New York World Fair in the Swiss Alpine Restaurant, fondue was the thing to do in the couple of decades following the fair. While not every home in America has a fondue pot as when I was a kid, it is still a fun social event and is a great excuse to have some friends over and drink some wine.
