How's your summer going??

Summer has felt a bit hectic for us (working from home and having the kids at home for summer break is a handful), yet I'm thankful for the memories we're making. The kids have participated in scouts camp, coding camp, gymnastics camp, dance camp, and we spent 10 days away for 2 triathlons! (Accounting tip: camps may count as childcare expenses :)

Our highlights were our 4-year-old daughter's first triathlon (time 20:52), and Patrick's new personal record in the Ironman 70.3 in Calgary (time 5:43:29).

PORTFOLIO UPDATE: HOUSTON

In July, Hurricane Beryl blew through our property in Houston. Thankfully there were no injuries or major damage, but we did have minor damage to fencing, roofs, and trees.

With only hot sun in the forecast now, we are on track to complete all renovations this month! That's 94 units renovated, full exterior paint, new balconies, renovated leasing office, and new laundry room - all in exactly one year.
