Last week, BFFP released the report 'Missing the mark: Unveiling corporate false solutions to the plastic pollution crisis', which tracks and ranks the top corporate polluters on their commitment to false solutions.
The findings are shocking: out of 265 projects, only 39 were focused on reuse. The rest are false solutions: end-of-pipe, unproven tech like chemical recycling, plastic offsetting schemes, or simply false narrative projects like beach clean ups as the main solution.
Now let's take action: from 28th - 30th June, we will have an ⚡️action storm⚡️ to demand accountability from Pepsi, Coca-Cola, and Nestle. Post a video or photo, or send a letter or postcard tagging them and telling them #EnoughFalseSolutions!
