Last week, Break Free From Plastic published a new report Missing the Mark: Unveiling Corporate False Solutions to the Plastic Pollution Crisis, which tracks and ranks the top corporate polluters on their commitment to false solutions.

The findings are shocking: out of 265 projects, only 39 were focused on reuse. The rest are false solutions: end-of-pipe, unproven tech like chemical recycling, plastic offsetting schemes, or simply false narrative projects like beach clean ups as the main solution.
