Hey! It's February!
Alison is offering a FREE CLASS on February 24th to help make space for your own heart this Valentine's Day and we're happy to annouce a CPR training with Gabe to help you be prepared around those you love.
With all this loving talk, when's the last time your thought about your feet?
Those things get you where you need to go, everyday! Petra is focusing in on our most neglected yet most important part of our body! More info below.
We'll have a reduced schedule for Family Day weekend, February 17-19, please double check the schedule before coming to class.

> Wednesday evening's class at 7:40 PM is now Pilates Fundamentals.
Gabe's Pilates Foundations focuses on the
principles of neutral posture and core engagement. You will build up to
the classical Pilates exercises with preps and adaptions for different
postures, vulnerabilities and flexibilities. You will learn about your
own body and improve your mechanics and mobility. Activate your core
while getting the benefits of all the Pilates principles! |

Sunday, March 4 from 12:30-3:30 pm
Happy feet are the key to a body that feels better and works better. That means they need to be strong and mobile. Since most of our feet have been imprisoned in shoes and walked only on flat surfaces for our ENTIRE LIVES they are often very unhappy. This workshop will help your feet feel better and work better, so you can enjoy better long term wellness in your entire body.

- Exercises to strengthen and mobilize your feet
- How to load your feet better in standing and walking
- Exercises to help you stand and walk better so that your feet stay happy
- How to choose better shoes

| Gabe is running a CPR certification course on Saturday, March 24 from 2-7 pm.
This hands on Canadian Red Cross CPR C course
includes adult and baby choking, CPR and AED. Have fun in a comfortable
setting while getting your WSIB approved certification. The instructor,
Gabe, is a Pilates teacher at Boomerang. She has many years experience
teaching First Aid and CPR.
This course is open to instructors, clients and the general public. Please contact gabe.thirlwall@gmail.com to register or talk to Alison at Boomerang.

| | Shelly Rowen is running a Restorative Yoga class on Sundays from 12:30-2 pm.
This class is not part of the regular Boomerang offerings, but please feel free to contact Shelly at the email below for any questions or to register for the class.
Restore balance to your nervous system, physical body and emotions through learning to fully inhabit your body through slow, mindful movement, learning to be fully present, regulating and deepening your breath, becoming more fully and deeply relaxed.
Sundays, 12:30 - 2 pm February 4-25 Cost: 4 classes - $72 Class size is limited to 10 people. Drop-in available only if there is space in the class - $20.
