WORKSHOPS
Covid-19 Update

As things progress here in Toronto, we are increasing the steps we're taking for your  (and our) health.

MATS
As of now, we won't be sharing mats anymore. If you have a mat of your own, please bring it to class. If you don't have a mat, you can sign out one of ours and keep it for the duration of the coronavirus outbreak.

CLEANING PRODUCTS
We've made a bleach solution for cleaning in order to avoid the strong smell of the Lysol products we had last week. This should be better for anyone with chemical sensitivities. Not perfect, but better, I hope!
On the other hand, we've run out of wipes and will be using paper towel to clean mats and props after every class. They're kind of shred-y and annoying, but it means we can throw them out after use which is important.

HAND WASHING
I know this is a bit of a pain, but we ask you to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water in the bathrooms before class. It really is the best and most effective way to combat the spread of the virus. If you sneeze or need to blow your nose (because that does actually happen in life, especially as we add allergy season to this mayhem) there will be hand sanitizer in the studio for your use.

PROPS
We will only be using props that can be cleaned off at the end of each class. If you have props that you want to bring with you, we entirely encourage that! The less potential for crossover we can create, the better.

For classes that often use Yoga Tune Up balls, please bring your own. We'll build our class plan around who brought what. If we only have a couple of studio balls being used, we can keep those properly cleaned. PLease don't use any spray cleaning products on them. They'll disintegrate! They need to be cleaned in a bit of water and gentle soap then thoroughly dried.

CLASS SIZE
We are limiting our class size to 8 people. I am truly sorry to make this decision, because I know it means some of you will miss classes, but we must be able to make space between mats.

UNWELL, TRAVELLING OR IN CONTACT
If you have been out of the country, unwell in any way or have been in contact with someone else not feeling good, we respectfully, lovingly need you to stay away from the studio. I know this is a drag for those of you who've been away or are currently away for March break, but we need to follow the guidelines.

STREAMING CLASSES
But we have a plan!
The Zoom channel should be up and running by mid-week and you will have the option of taking classes with us remotely. I'll keep you posted!

OUTDOOR CLASSES
Some classes will be shifting to an outdoor format if we need to limit classes or close the studio.
We'll keep you posted on this idea as we get it all set up and as the outbreak progresses. Alison and some of the other teachers will move to a series of classes on gait, hanging and stair climbing. An opportunity to apply all the work you d
o on the mat to your everyday movement. Yay!
This is particularly important as one of the recommendations from public health is to make sure you get outside, get fresh air and keep moving. It's good for your health!


PRIVATE SESSIONS
We are continuing to offer our private sessions at this time. We've always wiped things down and made sure things are clean between sessions, but we are making that process more extensive now. Your scheduled time may change slightly as we make sure we have time to clean everything completely between clients. We appreciate your flexibility in this!

If you are feeling unwell, please cancel your session!

MASSAGE AND BODY WORK
Our amazing wellness team are still here and offering the sessions you need to stay relaxed and healthy. As always, they will be cleaning everything between clients. As with clients for classes and sessions, if you feel in any way unwell, please cancel your massage with as much notice as possible (even if that notice is 10 minutes...).
