Dr. Sean Nolan has earned the reputation as a relentless medical detective. When a young reporter links multiple deaths to a designer drug with connections to a privately held pharmaceutical company, his investigation is suddenly blocked by federal authorities. He turns to Dr. Nolan for help, but the government involvement is a flashing red warning light. Intrigued by the story, Dr. Nolan wishes the young man well, but refuses to be drawn into the mystery.
