Old things, new things, used things, blue things are all things one can see only through contemporary eyes. Hundreds of things seen in hundreds of places by (less than) hundreds of people at hundreds of different moments in time flow across Bohart’s windows. The collection is like a day, as rhythmic as random. Look. LOOK. Every single day since 1 May 2013, Sculptureaday has posted a single photo sent along from an artist from someplace in the world of some object or conflagration of objects, of some random perspective of some random thing that has caught their eye as being something interesting, of being some kind of sculpture, of being the appearance of some work of art (however accidental) in the places and spaces they happen to find themselves. Art, it may be said if it hasn’t already, could be found just about anywhere if one would just LOOK and be open to whatever art-like thing one SEES. |
