Hey Friend,
I was just having a conversation with one of my personal coaching students and he was complaining about being busy with work, stress eating, not having time, and a lot of the usual stuff that most hard working family men deal with on a regular basis.
Being a business owner and father myself, I can relate to this because I often find myself getting caught up in the "To Do" list mode and just being busy, busy, busy.
So I constantly have to remind myself to stop and re-evaluate things and decide what's truly important and what stuff can wait.
Most of the "busy work" will always be there. But I make sure to prioritize the things that are truly important - like spending time with my family, being a good father to my son, and taking care of my health and fitness.
At the end of our life when we're looking back, I don't think anyone is going to wish that they spent more time "working".
But they'll certainly wish they spent more time with their family and taking care of their health and well being when they had the chance.
That's the perspective I try to view my life through.
Just wanted to share that with you. Hopefully, it gives you some food for thought on what's truly important, and where you should be prioritizing your time and energy.
