| Hey Friend,
One of the WORST things you can do in your training routine is to train your abs improperly. This will prevent you from ever having the body you truly want.
Even worse... if you make any of these very common mistakes you will be putting yourself at risk of injury during your workouts.
AVOID these 3 common ab-training mistakes and watch your results skyrocket.
Mistake #1: Too Much Volume
The most common mistake people make is performing countless reps of pretty much any type of ab exercise out there. Instead we should be focusing on the strength aspect of core training.
By now I'm sure you know that doing endless reps of crunches are a complete waste of time.
A lot of people still believe that they can "spot reduce" their mid-section and that's why they perform more reps when training their core compared to any other muscle group. Strength should be a priority when training your core. You don't build strength by doing 500+ reps of any exercise.
Mistake #2: Drawing In Instead Of Bracing Your Abs
Here's what I mean by that... Too many people suck in their stomach instead of pushing it out. Which is also known as bracing. Strength comes from bracing your abs, not sucking in your gut.
Try this on your next leg day... Do a set of squats or leg presses while sucking in your gut. Then for your next set do the exact same exercise while you push your stomach out and brace your abs. I guarantee that you'll notice a huge difference in strength and power!
You need to perform exercises that reinforce the brace if you ever want to develop strong rock hard abs.
Mistake #3: Neglecting Other Muscles In Your Core
If all you're doing is concentrating on the "burn" then I'm sorry to break it to you, but you won't be getting Six-Pack Abs anytime soon... especially if you have a belly.
Working your core as a whole will engage more muscles in your midsection, helping you to sculpt a Rock Solid Midsection.
Luckily for you, I've stumbled upon one of the best training methods to work your whole core without performing endless high rep sets. This system teaches you how to BRACE and stabilize your abs so that you can increase strength, power, and burn more belly fat and finally get the Ripped Six-Pack Abs you deserve.
The most effective way of doing this is by Training Like A Fighter.
Think about it... Fighters have to go through the process of getting punched and kicked repeatedly to their midsection.
On top of that, they produce a tremendous amount of power in their strikes and it all comes from the fascinating core strength that fighters posses.
With all that considered, you better believe, fighters train their abs differently than everyone else. You're not going to see these types of advanced abdominal exercises at your local gym.
