Everyday you are subconsciously shaping your future with small in the moment decisions...
It's amazing how all the little things, stuff that we don't even take time to think about, can shape the direction of our health and fitness (or
lack there of).
For example, no one purposely plans to become fat and out of
shape, it just happens as a by product of poor habits stacked up over
the long term. Vice versa, the best way to get lean, healthy and fit is
simply reverse those negative habits.
The secret to fitness success is NOT one major thing, it's the combination of a
lot of little things. Those simple in the moment decisions that don't
seem to matter much, but when compounded over time can make a huge
difference.
Simple Stuff Like...
- ordering a side of veggies with your meal instead of a side of french fries.
- drinking water instead of soda.
- drinking black coffee / tea instead of adding sugar and cream.
- taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
- going for a walk or going to the gym instead of watching another Netflix show.
In the moment these little decisions don't mean much, either way. One
bad meal won't make you fat, just like one good meal won't make you
lean...
If you skip the gym today, or even if you go... You'll still look the same tomorrow.
But when compounded over weeks, months, and years all these little
in the moment decisions can change the trajectory of your entire life.
That was the case for me not too long ago...
