| Hey Friend,
Should you eat more food on the days that you workout & less food on your rest days?
This was a question that I covered today in my most recent video Q & A.
A lot of people think that you need to eat more calories on the days you workout because you are burning more calories, and that you should eat less calories on rest days since you are not as active.
Now on the surface this does make sense... Now while it's true that you certainly do burn more calories on a workout day compared to a non-workout day, there is a lot more going on behind the scenes...
Your body is constantly in a state of protein turn over and needs a steady supply of protein and calories for growth. Your nutritional needs don't come to a stop just because you take a day off from the gym.
How you go about planning your eating on a workout day VS. a rest day can have a HUGE impact on your overall muscle gains.
