| Hey Friend,
One of the main reasons guys get involved with bodybuilding and fitness in the first place is to increase their self confidence and build high self-esteem.
That's what drew me to weight training at an early age. I can remember getting bullied and picked on at school, and that motivated me to start working out to build up my body.
Now developing your physical body is great and it can certainly help you to feel better about yourself as a person. But there's deeper levels to self confidence and self esteem that go beyond the physical body.
For example, a lot of bodybuilders and athletes are in great shape physically, and may appear to be confident on the outside. However, many of them are very shy and self conscious people on the inside.
I know about this all too well because I was one of them. I could compete on the bodybuilding stage - flex my muscles in front of an auditorium full of spectators and a panel of judges - wearing nothing but a pair of posing trunks and a smile :-)
But if you asked me to speak on stage, I was terrified, and had zero confidence in that area. This lack of "real confidence" carried over into my personal relationships as well because I was afraid to approach people, take advantage of opportunities, and step outside my comfort zone.
So in this "More Than Muscle" Video myself and Dan Lok are going to discuss how to build high self-esteem and unstoppable self confidence that will help you to become the best version of yourself.
