In a couple months I'm going to be turning the BIG 4-0 and my goal now is to get back in shape for my 40th birthday.
As I've gotten older, became a father, and have a lot more responsibilities on my plate - it's getting a lot harder to keep up with the day to day grind of going to the gym and sticking to a structured meal plan.
And to be totally honest with you... I've "let myself go". I'm no where near the same shape and condition that I used to be in during my bodybuilding competition peak.
So my main fitness goal now is to get back in lean condition so I can do a photo shoot and update all the old pictures on my website and show you the current Lee Hayward.
Now I'm not gunning for contest shredded or anything like that, but a realistic lean athletic look that I can be proud of. The type of look where I can take my shirt off and not be embarrassed about my "Dad Bod" gut sticking out.
Friend, over the next several videos that I'm going to be posting I'll be sharing my Fit Over 40 journey and outlining exactly what I'm doing with regards to cardio, training, eating, and mindset to get back in shape.
