The "Secret" To Fat Loss...

A recent study by Kevin Hall and colleagues supports that point in the most rigorous way possible. They locked volunteers inside a metabolic ward for four weeks and accounted for every bite of food.
 Eat This To Lose Fat
They were each randomly assigned to one of two groups. One ate meals consisting primarily of ultra-processed foods (i.e. the normal foods that most people eat on a regular basis).

The other group ate mostly unprocessed foods (i.e. foods that don't need a nutrition label - like fruits, veggies, natural meats, etc.)

Participants were allowed to eat as much as they wanted on both diets.

After two weeks, the groups switched diets.

**The Results**

On the processed food diet, subjects consumed an average of 500 more calories per day and gained weight, whereas the subjects eating unprocessed foods ate less total calories and lost weight.

Bottom Line, if you want to lose fat and keep it off - eat a diet that consists of natural unprocessed foods. Just like we teach within the "Lose Your Gut Challenge"
