And it doesn't require starving yourself, cutting out carbs, or fasting, or killing yourself in the gym 6 days per week, or any of that... When I was struggling with my weight I thought that the guys you see who were lean must have great genetics, crazy fast metabolisms, or they are starving themselves and always working out like crazy in the gym working out for hours on end.
But that is not the case...
You DO NOT have to go to the extremes and take the "ALL or NOTHING" approach. When you go "All Or Nothing" guess what happens, you very rarely get ALL and you usually end up with NOTHING - that's the truth.
Getting lean and staying lean is all about living a balanced lifestyle and doing just enough to make progress and maintain it - while enjoying the process.
These days I'm not starving or depriving myself, I eat until I'm comfortably full at every meal. In fact, I eat A LOT of food, but it's the right type of food, in the right ratios of protein, carbs, and fats.
With regards to my workouts, I go to the gym 3 days per week, and then on my off days I do some form of cardio - usually walking or cycling... That's It!
Bottom line, losing weight and keeping it off isn't as big or daunting of a task as most people make it out to be. It just takes being “Good Enough Consistently” over the long term.
