And
while there certainly are some people out there who do have better
genetics, faster metabolisms, and are "naturally lean" - they are few
and far between. Most
of the people that you see who are lean, fit, and look like they eat
healthy and workout - guess what - they actually eat healthy and
workout! Back
when I was struggling to lose weight and was blaming my ever expanding
waistline on my sh!tty genetics and slow metabolism - I wasn't being
100% honest with myself. I
used to fall victim of the ALL or NOTHING trap... I was either
following some unrealistic extreme cutting diet - Or I wasn't following
any diet at all. When
I'd finally get fed up with feeling fat and out of shape I'd go on some
crash diet fat loss program, I'd do things like cut my carbs to zero,
follow some Intermittent fasting diet, or only eat 1 meal a day, and
basically try and starve myself to lose weight through restriction and
will power. Well
guess what, will power never lasts. That's why the average "dieter"
can't even stick it out for longer than a month before they end up
quitting in frustration, giving into the cravings, binge eating, and
gaining all the weight they lost back again - usually with a few pounds
more... Ending up fatter than they were before they started their
"diet". But what if there was a "Better Way"? What
if there was a way to avoid the ALL or NOTHING extreme diet approach
and enjoy a healthy balance with your eating and exercise routine? What
if you didn't have to be perfect, what if you didn't have to starve
yourself and go hungry, what if you could actually enjoy the process? What
if instead of trying to change everything in your life at once with
some extreme restrictive cutting diet and endless hours in the gym, you
just had to focus on getting 1% better each day? Sound too good to be true? Well it's not... Because
this is the exact approach that I used to go from "Fat" to "Ripped" and
maintain visible abdominal definition every single day for the past 2
years without any Yo-Yo dieting or weight gain relapses.
