Subject: How much does a "FREE Donut" cost? 🍩

Lee Hayward's Total Fitness Bodybuilding Tips
Hey Friend,

For the past couple weeks I've been on a working vacation with my family in Clearwater, Florida. And yesterday morning we went to church with several friends of ours.

Being new visitors to the church everyone there was very warm and welcoming, which is something that I really appreciate. As a side note, if you're looking to expand your circle
of friends, join a church, you're bound to meet some awesome people!

Part of the warm welcome included a large selection of free donuts, muffins, and coffee in the lobby of the church.
How Much Does A FREE Donut Cost?
Now this seems like a simple innocent gesture, and I know that no one meant any harm by doing it, even though it's fattening the congregation.

However, when we were offered a donut, I just said "No Thank You" and we walked right past and went inside to take our seats.

I do this all the time whenever junk food is being offered, whereas most people feel obligated to eat the "free junk food" being offered to them.

Just think about it, when you grab a donut or muffin on the run and stuff it down, how much enjoyment and eating satisfaction are you really getting? Not that much...

But it does provide several hundred extra fattening calories. While doing it once isn't really going to make a difference, if you do it week after week, it adds up.

And even though these donuts are offered for "FREE" that doesn't mean eating them isn't costing you... Because if you do eat them, you're going to have to spend at least an extra hour doing cardio to burn them off.

A little mental trick that I like to do that helps me stay on track is to factor in how much your time is worth, and then every time you mindlessly eat junk food, mentally calculate it as costing you 1 hour of work.

For example, let's say you make $30 per hour at your job, than eating those "FREE Donuts" just cost you $30 bucks because it's going to take you an extra hour of work (i.e. an extra hour of cardio) to burn them off.

When you start putting a price tag on things and realize that mindlessly eating junk food, even "Free Junk Food" is costing you money, it may help you maintain better self control.

The truth is losing fat doesn't take extreme dietary changes. Just being aware of all the little things that most people don't consider, can make or break your fat loss success.

It's by fixing all the "little things" that has allowed me to get lean and stay lean in my 40's without dieting.
I'm not on a diet, I'm just not getting fat anymore!
Whenever I meet friends and family in person now, they all comment on how much leaner I'm looking and they usually ask me if I'm following a "Cutting Diet".

But I just tell them; "No, I'm not dieting, I'm just not getting fat anymore."

That's the secret that no one talks about. It's not just about "losing weight" it's about learning how to stop getting fat in the first place.

When you know how to stop getting fat, you'll succeed in reaching and maintaining your ideal body weight.
