For most guys the legs tend to get less priority, especially when compared to the "show off" muscles of the upper body (i.e. chest, biceps, and abs).

But leg training is critically important for building a well balanced muscular physique.

Not only will leg training help improve your overall strength and athletic performance. But it will increase your metabolism and stimulate anabolic hormones such as testosterone and growth hormone - which can help you build more muscle all over (even in your upper body) and help burn off that stubborn bodyfat that's covering your abs.
