Subject: Heavy Benching & Torn Pecs...

Lee Hayward's Total Fitness Bodybuilding Tips
Hey Friend,

The Bench Press is one of the the most popular lifts in the gym. It's the ego exercise. For many guys their entire training progress is measured by "How Much Can Ya Bench?"

While the bench press is an awesome exercise for building size, strength, and thickness in the upper body. It's a double edged sword because the temptation to push yourself to lift heavier and heavier puts you at risk of injury.

There have been more torn pecs caused from lifting too heavy in the bench press than from all other chest exercises combined.

My most recent YouTube video dives into the topic of heavy benching and pulled pec muscles, and explains how to rehab yourself if you do suffer a chest injury while bench pressing.
