What Is Tennis Elbow???
Tennis elbow is a form of elbow tendonitis. This is a painful condition that occurs when the tendons in your elbow are overworked and inflamed. It's caused by repetitive motions of the hand and arm.
Despite the name, tennis elbow can occur in people who don't play tennis (even though it is a common injury in tennis). People who do a lot of repetitive motions, either through working out in the gym, playing sports, or doing physically demanding labor work often get tennis elbow. (i.e. mechanics, carpenters, painters, butchers, plumbers, musicians, athletes, etc.)
