Hey Friend,
We all know that eating a clean healthy diet is good for our health. But is it possible that eating "too clean" can prevent you from gaining muscle and bulking up?
In some cases the answer is YES...
For a skinny hardgainer who is struggling to gain weight it can be difficult to consume enough calories to grow if you only eat low fat / low calorie foods.
When I was a teenager my main bodybuilding goal was bulking up and filling out my frame with muscular bodyweight. At the time I was following the sample bodybuilding diet plans that I read about in the magazines that consisted of foods like; skinless chicken breasts, egg whites, white fish, vegetables, rice, potatoes, oatmeal, etc.
And even though I was eating "healthy" it seemed that no matter how much I ate, I just could not eat enough to put myself in a significant caloric surplus to bulk up and gaining muscle.
It was only after I purposely started eating more "Dirty Bulking" foods that I made my best gains in muscle size and strength.
Friend at the link below you can hear the full story and get a breakdown of the exact foods that I ate to fill out my frame and pack on muscular bodyweight.
