Bulking Up is sometimes necessary in order to gain muscular bodyweight and fill out your physique. For extremely skinny guys high calorie bulking can be helpful.
But for a lot of guys, when they try to eat more food and "bulk up" they end up gaining a lot of excess bodyfat in the process - thus getting a big belly.
