The story is from a friend of mine, Dr. Carl Juneau, an exercise scientist who specializes in building muscle:

"Back in 2007, I was a trainer for the Canadian Forces. First week on the job, I bump into this guy in the locker room.
A platoon instructor, well into his 50s. But with the body of a 35-year-old man. Lean, muscular, and fit. It gave me hope.
