When it comes to abdominal training, here's what you need to know...
- Ab workouts should be short, simple and strategic.
- You only need a few exercises to really make them POP.
- Your movements should be slow and controlled. A great way to do this is with a 5 second CONCENTRIC and a 5 second NEGATIVE.
- A
huge mistake people make when training abs is with their breathing. You
need to inhale deeply before initiating with your abs and then as you
perform your movement exhale all your air out. This creates more room
for your abs to shorten and contract hard.
