Oh yes... this is great you are coming together.
Partners that have attended
together have told me afterwards that they BOTH got their own "ah -ha" moments.
This is what I'm aiming for.
My fundamental message is that we men and women are related to communication and relationship itself, very differently.
Partners begin to see this clearly at the info session
and we know it works best when BOTH of you get a breakthrough in understanding.
Otherwise, one partner feels like they are "carrying" the other and as I'm sure you're aware .... this is usually the woman.
In our last info session, a woman came without her husband and at the end she was very sorry she didn't invite or even mention it to him.
She wished he had been at the event.
There is a BIG teaching in the content for men and she knew
she wouldn't be able to explain it to him second hand...
...the couple is already struggling and neither of them is in the "mood" to listen to the other about
the state of their communication.
I understand first hand how bad it can get, where we begin to think the "other" doesn't care anymore ... then we start to feel resigned...cynical even ... but resignation and cynicism are like dangerous waters.
The area of relationship tends
to be more a woman's domain and for this reason I am a BIG advocate for men and I have designed all of my programs to be super "man friendly" where I meet them where THEY are ...
... not where us women want
them to be.
The men appreciate and
respond well to that.
I'm a woman that was in a 14 year marriage that ended very poorly.
I know exactly how it feels.
Way back then, I didn't know ANY of what I teach couples now.
After all ...if we don't get the men on board then there's no point, right?
So ...yes....great that Glenn is coming....he'll really enjoy it.
