Annual Meeting of Photonics Partnership |
The Photonics Partnership, a public-private partnership between the European Commission and European industry representation, met in Brussels. Work on the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) was inaugurated. Representatives of Polish companies, universities and research institutes participate in the work within thematic working groups. |

General assembly of PPTF members |
Members of the Polish technological Platform on Photonics (PPTF) met near Rzeszów at the end of June to network in person after pandemic restrictions and discuss innovation funding, plans for future activities and joint projects. Participants held a General Assembly of PPTF and visited the fibre optics factory of FIBRAIN, a PPTF member. |

University of Warsaw hosted the Optica Siegman International School on Lasers - the most important and the largest international summer school on laser physics.
