Plasmonic prints from MUT |
Plasmonic color is an effect resulting from the interaction of light with microscopic structures on the surface of an object. Plasmonic nanostructures, thousands of times smaller than a hair, create unusual, variable colors, depending on their shape and the position of the light. MUT researchers have developed a new method for high-resolution plasmonic printing. Possible applications include marking, anti-counterfeiting, encryption and personalized jewelry. (Photo:.
